Bless The Child was filmed in Toronto, Canada
From Tele Quatre Saisons, a private Quebec, Canada,
television station. The interviewer was Anne-Marie Loisque.
from Renata at Global Roof
----------------------------
AML: How was your experience in Toronto?
R: It was great. Weird, though.
AML: Weird?
R: Well, weird...
AML: Why? (transcribers note: the interviewer was being polite, anyone from Montreal
doesn't need to ask why an experience in Toronto was weird, tee hee...) (No offense to the
Torontonian Rufians, who clearly are kindred spirits! :-))
R: It was weird living with Satan, and doing that every day does kind of affect you after
a while. (Major bout of ear tugging, LOL!)
AML: Oh yeah, in what way? (flirty laugh, eyebrow wiggling)
Roof, demonstrating once again that he IS the Man, just smiles sweetly and let's her have
her moment...
AML: It seems lately in Hollywood, that religious themes are very present, and evil and
religious drama... why do you think so?
R: Oh! Why do *I* think so? I dunno, ask someone else (giggle). I think maybe, you know,
at some point it was to do with the onset of the millenium, you know. People thinking
about prophecies, people thinking about 2,000 years of Christianity. It's bound to be
something to do with that. And also because there haven't been any for a while (giggle) -
maybe *that* old thing!
AML: I was reading, also, sitting doing some reading, that you don't want to live in Los
Angeles, you've decided not to live there...
R: (inaudible mutter)... it's be careful what you say, because, cut, six months later it's
me living in Los Angeles (waving his hands) 'ooh, sorry about what I said'! I mean, that
was a bit of a misquote, you know... if I do, I just have to be careful, because I never
want to end up with a lifestyle I have to support, you know. I'd rather be keeping it the
other way round. I don't want to end up... because if I was to live in Los Angeles, as an
English actor you have to justify your existence here, the only way you can do that is
through work, so you have to keep working and I have the luxury.... in fact, at the moment
I'm only going to do a job that is more attractive to me than the idea of sitting on my
butt watching TV or going on holiday. And it's not often that I read a script that is more
attractive than the idea of hanging around with my friends at night.
